Monty Python's Flying Circus..... (Warning: comedy ahead)

What can I say? I'm soon getting the boxset of the entire Monty Python's Flying Circus series, and I thought I'd celebrate by doing a 'what's your favourite sketch/song?' However, I will impose the following conditions:

1. Nothing from the movies, except And Now for Something Completely Different. Stage shows are fine.

2. "Dead Parrot" and "The Lumberjack Song" are right out, unless it is from a stage show version and has a novel twist from the versions shown on TV or ANFSCD.

3. Unusual versions of Python sketches, like machinima or fan-animated sketches will give you browny points, and the winner in this will get a Doctorum Adamus cum Flabello Dulci.

I do enjoy that sketch where they're making a very low-budget film on Torquay beach which results in various shenanigans involving a man in a Lion suit and a robotic Penguin.

Also, it was while staying in a hotel on location down there that John Cleese got the idea for Fawlty Towers.

I also like the Spanish Inquision - can't be faulted.

Both of those are good enough for me.

there is also a scene involving a pantomime lion getting an arm chopped off.

The Fish-Slapping Dance! Nice one Kosmonaut! Actually, this seems to be a firm favourite of the Pythons themselves. Especially Michael Palin's.

I believe the 'Philosophy Soccer' one was done for the German series. Watch the captions for the philosophers....

I'm gonna go on forever if I try to think of all the sketches that make me laugh!! !
