I'm hoping the movie can avoid insensitive stereotypes, and help put some spotlight on Middle Eastern American talent and boost some careers. It would be incredibly ballsy to have an Arab hero in a Hollywood film at this juncture in time.
In the meantime, Will Smith would do fine as the Genie, I'm sure. Excellent comedic timing.
