I didn't know whether this should go in the General Autism forum or here, but considering that the episodes of Doctor Who this was adapted into was transmitted only recently, I thought I would post this in here.
You may have seen the episodes, but this version of Human Nature is fairly different, though it shares plot similarities. It features the Seventh Doctor and his then companion Bernice Summerfield. While the original book is now out of print, the BBC website saw fit to post up an e-book. After transmition, they released a new pdf version.
Why is this so aspie? Well, the Doctor has some Aspie characteristics, and his motivation for becoming human in this story was (hinted at) because he was unable to understand Bernice's grief for losing a friend, a French knight, in the previous adventure. Very Aspie, I reckon.
Anyway, here's a link to the website. Not only does it have the book in a pdf format, but also a web format, along with articles on Human Nature's writing...
