The thread is self-explanatory, I'd love to hear your recommendations for some good comedic buddy cop films. Have fun!

Western cops, AKA Texas Rangers: The Over-The-Hill Gang.

1930s cops: City Heat (Reynolds and Eastwood).

While DeNiro had played a bail bondsman rather than a cop in Midnight Run, it might still qualify.

"Freebie & the Bean" would be at the top of my list. james caan in a rare comedic role, playing alongside alan arkin.

Miss Congeniality 1, with Sandra Bullock and Regina King----OMG, that movie was funny!! First-of-all, they HATE each other!! Then, in one scene, Sandra was disguised as a little ol' Jewish woman----she put oranges in her sweater to make it look like old lady boobs (hangin'-down and wobblin'-around); I was ROFL!!

There was an episode that dealt with a porno parody of the cops called "Stroke Her and Boob"

I would recommend Super Troopers, and on 4/20, Super Troopers 2.

You beat me to it! One of my all-time favorite movies.

I'm always down for a good 80s/90s buddy cop film, though. Beverly Hills Cop and Lethal Weapon are obviously the ones that most people think of. There's plenty of stupid ones where the cop's partner is a dog, or a little kid, or what-have-you. Cop and a Half, Last Action Hero, Armed and Dangerous, Top Dog, K-9, etc.

There was one I saw part of on TV once, with Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines, called Running Scared, I'd like to see the whole thing some time.
