Downton Abbey

To me, this is a soap opera for Masterpiece Theater about rich, aristocratic people.

{Upstairs Downstairs is even worse, although I'll admit that Call the Midwife was excellent and very well-done.}

The Heart, She Holler would have to be my pick for the worst. It shocked me that Adult Swim could actually come up with something so crappy.

The Apprentice. Some shows I like, some I dislike but there is just something about The Apprentice that triggers my anxiety to such a level that I just cant be in the room if my wife is watching it. I think it is idiotic one-upmanship and arguing. It seems to encapsulate everything about NTs I find stressfull and then feeds it, amplified, into my living room when all I want to do is switch off from all of that stress and relax.

Until I gave the title a second look, I thought it was "Downtown" Abbey, rather than Downton--as if it were in the central business district of a town called Abbey.

:lol:

I'd find a show about rich aristocrats called Downtown Abbey really hilarious if it was a fish-out-of-water comedy, rather than a crappy soap opera on Masterpiece Theater.

Maury Povich is the Anti-Christ of television.

I had to watch it because I had a broadcasting control room job.

Same goes for many creepy televangelists.

In the case of 3-month-old Dacron, VIDEODROME, you *are* the father!

I may get yelled at for this, but I find NCIS LA the WORST possible spin off. It's nothing like NCIS to original. I didn't care for Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior either. Oh and The Ex List was awful! I think it lasted few episodes. People were so upset when CBS cancelled Moonlight, only to be replaced by The Ex List. This was back in 2007 or 2008 though.

Was Suspect Behavior a spin off? I had never even heard of it, though Criminal Minds to me is up there with Law and Order as most interesting crime dramas on TV. The worst is easily CSI Miami, though all the CSI shows are pretty stupid as their detectives can only ever solve a case with a music-video like montage sequence.

Yes Suspect Behavior was a spin off. It only lasted 10 or so episodes.
