At least he turns into a yellow VW bug like the G1 original and not a Camero.

This was a character whose popularity was all out of proportion with the coolness of this toy, and its all because of how he was portrayed in a low budget cartoon.

He was a little plastic VW Bug. His transformation was uber simple: pull out his arms and legs, flip down his feet, and flip up his head. That's it. He had no guns or accessories of any type.

If not for the way he was depicted on the TF cartoon, he would probably just have rotted on store shelves. I mean, there were Transformers in his size and price range that turned into tanks, A-10 Thunderbolts, UFOs, and race cars.

Also Starscream is dead in the main TF films Bay timeline, so this may be a G1 reboot of the franchise. I welcome that.

IMO, this could be the first good Transformers movie since...maybe the third film?

I think this may well be a prequel set in the 80s come to think of it.
