Hadn't heard of most of these.

Looking forward to

Pet Sematary (enjoyed the original a lot and loved the book)

Happy death day 2U (enjoyed the first, and will likely have more fun with this one since it seems "character development" is downplayed)

Child's play (enjoyed the original trilogy and Cult and Curse of Chucky)

Curios about

Scary stories to tell in the dark

La llorona

- I read the "New Mutant" comics, don't know why they made a horror movie out of it. Still want to see it though.

- Wish they'd left "Pet Sematary" alone. That creepy little kid, Herman Munster, and the woman's sister.

- Love Jordan Peele, hope he can make another good one.

I love horror. But only horror that takes itself seriously. No dolls, ridiculous puppets, cheese, etc...

I concur. BTW, which works by Stephen King do you think should be made into movies or TV shows
that have yet to be adapted for film or TV?

Cell, they made it into a movie already...but not a good one. They changed too many things, they left out some important scenes. Someone will take another shot at it.

The Velvet Buzzsaw looks especially scary to me. I really hope the limited theatrical release is somewhere near me.

- "It: Chapter Two" sounds promising but I can't take Bill Skarsgard seriously ever again after the Deadpool 2 cameo

- "Pet Sematary" looks like a parody of "The Conjuring". Meh - skip!!

- "Zombieland Too" will be a hoot!! !

I am also looking forward to seeing Godzilla: King of the Monsters and am curious about Bright Burn.

All of those sound like serious horror movies as well. Not sure what you are talking about.

Us looks like the most interesting and scary concept for a horror film so far this year. Man I really hope it's good.
