Question About The Justice League Animated Series

Do people consider Justice League and Justice League Unlimited two separate shows or just one whole series?

Both shows did have different opening theme tunes and both did have different premises. One focused on the original seven and with the exception of one episode they were all multi parters and the other added more heroes to the roster and the episodes weren't all multi parters except more maybe the ongoing storylines. Even websites like Wikipedia and IMDB have seperate pages for both shows.

If I did a list that required the show to be on there e.g. Top 10 DC TV Shows or Top 10 Superhero Shows then Justice League would definitely be on there but if I put Justice League I would want people to know the Unlimited episodes are included as well. Heck if I did add Unlimited to the title then vice versa.

If I did a list of my Top 10 Episodes I would count both JL & JLU. What would others do? Would they add Justice League & JLU together as one series or separately? Most people count The New Batman Adventures series as Season Four of Batman: The Animated Series despite a different style of animation and also a slightly different premise so why not JL & JLU?

I thought JLU was a sequel series to Justice League but maybe that's just me.

Well technically it is. Though the same could be said for The New Batman Adventures being a sequel to Batman: The Animated Series but many consider it to be the 4th Season. I consider Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League to be my Top 2 DC Shows which includes The New Batman Adventures Episodes and Justice League Unlimited Episodes.
