What is folkshere's opinion of the ongoing DC Extended Universe series of super-hero movies from Warner Brothers that competes with the fabulously successful Marvel Cinematic Universe series from Marvel Studios/Disney? They started with MAN OF STEEL, with Henry Cahill, from 201e.
I've s÷n every one - They certainly have been seen as Warner's/DC trying to play catch up with Disney/Marvel - and though most if not all have been hits, both " big-time " critical and fan-level response has been mixed. I am now researching BATMAN V SUPERMAN on a hospital's defective TV, on their on-demand system...If started with a card saying that what they were showing was an edited for content version.

I liked Wonder Woman. I avoided the Superman ones because I really don't care for the direction they went. My cousin's 6 y/o daughter was in Shazam! but I haven't seen it and don't know what her role consisted of. We're not really tight like that. WW is the only one I've seen DC comics (up to about 10 years ago) are a special interest, but that makes me super opinionated about the franchise/s. I like the more retro takes best, so "Moody Superman" doesn't do it for me. It's a VALID take, so I'm not gonna say people are wrong for liking it. It's just not the take I enjoy. Different strokes for different folks.
