I'm often looking on YouTube for a good creepypasta, one that's easy to get into and imagine in your head as the guy is telling the story. But I think lately the creepypastas are running low on ideas.
I found some that were really good, and had a good plot and a creepy twist to it. But lately the creepypastas just seem to be about teenagers at university and breaking up with their girlfriends or boyfriends, often set in hot places in the US. Mentally picturing scenes of hot sunshine in US places and teenagers living teenage lives isn't very creepy, nor does it get me in a creepy mood, even if there is a creepy twist somewhere in the story.
What I'd like as a creepypasta is one about an old, abandoned infants school, the building being a victorian-style design. Just imagining that alone can give me the creeps before the story has even begun. Getting scared is what I want.
Is it me being hard to creep out lately, or are creepypastas really running low on ideas?
