Maybe I'm alone on this...

But frankly I'm getting sick and tired of sociopathic anti-heroes on TV. Especially ones that hurt or kill innocent people just to stop the badguys.

Whatever happened to heroes with morals and a conscience? Heroes who fought to do the right thing against overwhelming odds without having to be as corrupt as the villains?

I miss those kinds of heroes. :(

I've stopped watching police procedurals ("Cop Shows") because of the gratuitous violence and bad cop bullying. Superhero movies are boring. I get most of my entertainment from playing tabletop RPGs and reading science-fiction books.

I've come to dislike action movies and shows in general.

I prefer dramas more. Like The Green Mile, Forrest Gump, and Sling Blade. I like flawed characters, even flawed villains like Sweeney Todd. But don't convince me that an undercover spy who kills two innocent security guards on a train to stop mercenaries from stealing their CDC containers is somebody I should admire (thinking about the character Tom from The Blacklist).

I find people's obsession with anti-heroes lately to be disturbing. :|
