I usually watch horrors on Halloween but this year I started playing the Blackwell series of games instead (they have ghosts in).

I used to love horror games like Resident Evil (before Resident Evil messed the series up), Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Haunting Ground, and Siren. :skull:

Did you stay up all night or watch movies all day?

We don't do Halloween here but as it happens my son wanted to watch Candyman and I joined him.

Assuming Day of the Dead is the 1985 version, why didn't Dawn of the Dead make the cut?

I watched Halloween movies that featured Halloween parties.

The Midnight Hour
Trick or Treat (1986)
Trick or Treat (2007)
Night of the Creeps
Idle Hands

It was the 1985 version, and I have no idea... it really sucks that there's no bluray release for the original Dawn of the Dead. :|

I LOVE Hallowe'en!

Didn't watch Nosferatu and missed the downtown screening of Metropolis on the 30th but I did watch Haunted Spooks (short subject from 1920 with Harold Lloyd & Mildred Davis.) So all was not lost--any day with a Harold Lloyd movie is a fun day.

There was a limited edition 4 disc release a while ago (in the UK at least). I nearly bought one but didn't, now I regret it because you can't get them anymore and it's one of my favourite films :(

The US did have a release; it was the orange cover and only theatrical version. I have that and ended up getting the region free box set. Some might say I exhibit collecting behavior.
