Charlie Brown was most socially awkward. Linus remembered facts best. And, Schroeder was a musical genius.

But, which Peanuts character seemed most likely to have ASD?

Charlie Brown, obviously, with Linus a close second.

Lucy likely had anger issues, even though she obsessed over Schroeder, so possibly OCD?

I just remembered that Linus was pretty introverted and awkward around Sally. And Pig-Pen was the most ostracized.

I would say off of the characters, to an extent, had some of the behaviors, since Charles Schulz was autistic.

Yeah, I totally agree with this----and, I might also add "Pigpen", cuz he was ostracized, for being "different", and didn't seem to care that he was different.

I voted for Charlie Brown, though.

I'm going with the socially awkward Charlie Brown.

Although I was only able to vote for one, I would think both Schroeder and Linus would qualify. I picked Schroeder in the poll due to his fixation on his music as well as limited socialisation with his classmates, however Linus had that attachment to his blanket much the way I still do with my pacifiers approaching age 53.
I also agree with the poster who mentioned Lucy demonstrated a lot of non-ASD behavioural issues.

In one earlier strip Charlie visits Schroeder the day after Christmas. Schroeder happily shows off all the many unusual Beethoven-related gifts he's received, including a year's supply of Beethoven bubble gum, and then he mentions "Oh yeah, I also got a toy train. Now what am I going to do with a toy train?"

Of course, Schroeder is a musical genius, so his obsession with Beethoven and his piano would be seen as just a part of his talent.

Pig Pen is basically the typical boy who seems to be a magnet for dirt (in fact in at least one strip he is, literally). Some people think Pig Pen is filthy because he is severely neglected by his parents, but he probably is clean before he leaves his house and enjoys being dirty.

Snoopy acts more like a human than a real dog, so I don't know. Nearly all the characters are odd or eccentric to some degree.

You know, after the socially awkward Charlie Brown, I'd have to reconsider Schroeder, as he's obsessed with Beethoven and music, and little else, to the point of paying little attention to his peers.

Probably Linus and possibly Schroeder.

1. I don't see Charlie Brown as being autistic. I find him to be a shy, awkward neurotypical.

2. Linus: Probably not. He seems to be a precocious, neurotypical kid, with some regression back to toddlerhood. He's very wise socially, gives good advice to Charlie Brown.

3. Schroeder: Most Aspie/Autistic of the bunch. Has a special interest (classical music), and gets very angry when distracted from the special interest by Lucy. He's also pretty aromantic--unlike either Charlie Brown or Linus.

What about Marcie? She's a little weird, quirky, and awkward.

The Peanuts characters act more like adults than kids. But that's true for a lot of cartoons probably because their creators are adults and not child psychologists. Or maybe it's just the fact that adults are boring but kids are fun and interesting to draw and look at. Compare Calvin with his skinny little arms, his feet that resemble dinner rolls and his anime-esque hair to his much more normal-looking parents. And yet he does things like ask Moe the bully "Are your maladjusted antisocial tendencies the result of your berserk pituitary gland?"

Schroeder has the classic behavior as far as I can tell. But, others have some qualities to that would qualify. I think Peppermint Patty looks a lot like a female aspie, except well groomed.
