Titanic - Lady and the Tramp parallels

I know it sounds crazy but hear me out. James Cameron's film has a lot more in common to the Disney film than you would initially think.

Lady and Rose are both living in the uppe-rclass of society, living their lives very proper and having rich families.
Tramp and Jack are young men with no money, living off what he can by being sly and tricky. They have also flirted with lots of girls.

So Lady/Rose meet Tramp/Jack and he shows her how great life is if she could just forget about her rich life and join in. Without anyone else knowing, Lady/Rose spends a night with Tramp/Jack.

Aside from everything else happening in the films, you can't help but see the similarities, can you?

It is not crazy; it is the "Heroine's Journey" -- the romantic analogue to the "Hero's Journey" of classic literature.  If you read any Harlequin Romance paperback at random, you are likely to find the same story told only with different characters.  Someone once wrote a parody called "Browbeaten Heights" that hit all the tropes of the romance (a.k.a., "Bodice-Ripper") genre.  I cannot find it, but I'd sure like a copy if anyone has it.
