Who thinks MTV is fake?

Does anyone watch MTV? I don't, except for Punked. For one thing, why don't they show music videos anymore? What music videos they do show are horrible. Some rappers trying to get the girl into bed with them. In fact, that seems to be what MTV is mostly about. It's a channel with artists with no talent, and a bunch of NT teens running around trying to act all popular and get some guy or girl in a relationship that won't last. I say, don't waste time watching this channel.

At least VH1 has good music...

When did MTV become NTV? Showcasing everything wrong with society?

Yeah, my cousin watches it and told me it's something I wouldn't like. I was at her house one time and and she was watching the most pointless show I ever saw. I forgot what it was except it was on MTV.

The only thing that was cool about MTV were "Liquid TV" and Beavis and Butthead, but then again, that was also 10 years ago. I couldn't care less

I don't mind if MTV shows good music videos, but their own TV shows they have on are fake. They are making too much of fools out of themselves honestly, and their goal is to be too happy.

MTV is for the brain dead homogeneous masses. It tells them how to act cool, what to wear and what other crap they need to possess, to achieve happiness in the putrid vacuum of enlightment, which they have created in society.

I don't watch MTV. Its all crappy reality shows and music I don't like. Beavis and Butthead was fun though - but that was back in the days when they still played music occasionally... :roll:

Years ago, when I lived in San Francisco I bought a button for my jacket at Bound Together Books that was a summed it up perfectly:
