Something got me to thinking about this show (which had a theme, among many others, regarding autism) and noticed that it is now rated 8.2 on IMDb. It seems to me its IMDb rating was much lower during its actual run.

Can this be attributed to some sort of nostalgia, perhaps for the Obama years when American seemed a "nicer" place than nowadays?

I wonder who else here has seen this recently or has strong opinions about the show?

A lot of shows gain a "cult" following long after they ceased production.  For instance, I never watched "Community" while it was being produced, and only became a fan afterward.  This has nothing to do with any political climate.
