Anybody like Transformers G1

It's kinda kool, but there's 2 weird things about it:

1. In a few parts of the show they use lightsaber noises

2. What hapens to the trailer in the back of Optimus when he transforms it just goes away

Overall it's pretty cool

Love 'em, the comic book moreso than the cartoon (better writing.) The cartoon was cool if you didn't think too much about physics. Gundam, et. al made more sense LOGICALLY, but I didn't watch for the logic, I just liked big robots Transforming. And they were colorful. And they had Soundwave, best mysterious character since Boba Fett.

yeah, i grew up on transformers. the originals were great, the toys were the best part.

but i was all about beast wars when that came out, the storyline was soooo epic, and soo good for a kids show. i love how they tied in the old transformers, which was probably meant as a little in-joke for all the kids who grew up in the 80's and were then in their 20's, but luckily i watched the tapes all of the time years before beast wars came on the scene so it was even better for me than most.
