If you like a lot of blood, the mannerisms of Poe, a stravinskyish musical score and melody, and dark humor, then I highly recommend that you see this movie. It is extremely well produced.

So far it sounds interesting.

Never was too keen on blood, but it's doesn't bother me either.

come on, its got johnny depp in the main role and tim burton directing... how can this be a bad movie? ;)

Yep, exactly why I'm Not going to see it.

Definently worth it. I hate musicals and I loved the movie anyway.

Is it true Sondheim found inspiration in "The Count of Monte Cristo" for the musical?
