Who likes Degrassi: The Next Generation?

I recently got the channel, Noggin/The N on my cable service lately and now I like that show.

I watched some of the earlier ones and felt it was less realistic than the old series in that the kids are all very slick looking. It's interesting how Emma grew into self awareness of her good looks and it made her less attractive. I didn't follow the series much but what happened to Liberty on the show?

I used to watch it. I stopped watching around the time Jimmy was shot. It seems like every horrible thing a teenager could go through happens to someone in this group of kids. Are they still making new episodes? I would think they should have graduated high school by now.

I like the original degrassi's from the 80's the best. Kids of degrassi street, degrassi junior high, then degrassi high... they were all good. Some of the DTNG were ok, but it seems to have lost it's soul. Now the kids just seem to have sex all the time and get killed, the old degrassi's were more innocent. The characterization was better in the old shows too.

I did until the ABC stopped airing it.

I can tell you what no one likes, Degrassi:Deep Space Nine.

I don't watch Degrassi, but I know people who do...They get violent when I make corny jokes about it, like the one above, provided they get the joke, of course.
