I just got into this show. I'm only on Disk 3 of Season 1 so far, but I was surprised when I realized how much I loved this show. I mean, I hate most TV, the trailer didn't look that good, and it sounded basically like a rip off of X-Men. But it really freakin' kicks ass. Seriously. I can't even describe how much I love what I've seen of this show or why. The story is gripping (sooo many sub plots), the characters interesting, the dialogue funny, and it's a motherf****ng live action superhero show that actually WORKS...when has that been done before? This is like the ultimate geek show.

The only problem is that since I'm watching season 1 while season 2 goes on, I can't just pop in the middle of season 2 when I'm done because I know, given how much happens in each episode, that it won't make any sense. So I'll have to wait for season 2's DVD next year. DX

Regardless, does anyone else here love this show?

I'm getting into heroes. I've just finished watching Episode 9 Series 1. It's been really good.

Why must they make us suffer and wait for season 2? WHY?

I like Heroes, but I hated that sometimes the plot just really really dragged! Please speed it up! But I can't wait for Season 2!!

Love Heroes. Hiro gets all the great moments. He's probably the most powerful of them all, but he just is a total geek. Love the season-ender when he takes Ando back to Japan. Right before he leaves...

Ando: "Hiro?"
Hiro turns.
Ando: "You look bad-ass."
Hiro: "Really?" the look on his face is perfect.

Or when Peter tells him about Future-Hiro. Hiro's reaction "I had a sword?"

Priceless. Can't wait for season premiere next Monday.

I've only just seen episode 10 and it was silly when Hiro tried to phone Santo and on the other line it said:

"Santo is not here at the moment. This is Hiro Nakamura, how can I help you?"

Then Hiro just puts the phone down.

Priceless!

Could definitely do without the "bipolar stripper with a heart of gold" thread. :?

It's not that I don't mind her, I have just yet to have seen a purpose for her.

In my opinion she isn't exactly a hero.

I tried watching this a few times because I like the actor who played Jesse on Gimore Girls (don't recall his real name or his Heroes character at the moment). But I watched half of teh 1st episode and though it was stupid and changed the channel. Then the few times I tried to watch it later, there were all these skinny, blonde chicks in tank tops and low cut jeans and I couldn't tell them apart. It just seemed like a w*k fest for teenage boys and that annoyed me. Then I found out Christopher Eccleston had a part, and I really like him - but still coldn't watch a whole episode. It just seems really goofy to me and I can't get into it. I ended up watching Eccleston's segments on YouTube.

My brother bought the DVD, so I may try to watch it again sometime.

I've been following from the beginning, really interested to see just what's going to happen in the next season - seems like they're really going to expand the magnitude of effect in this story and dive into the history of things.

Well, when she can get both halves of her mind working together she can also put people through walls practically - that I think has some use though I agree its a tough call on whether or not that could happen with most people if they were somehow possessed by another personality, possibly with a much different pain threshold and attitude.
