Vote among these.

My personal favourite is John Cleese.

The late Graham Chapman. He could do high camp. He could do the most magnificent woebegone, put-upon expression. He could do damn-near anything. Sadly missed.

By themselves, none is quite as funny as when they're working together. But I vote for Chapman.

Yo-yo, where's Terry Gilliam? Not that I'm voting for him, but he is one of the core Pythons. I know we can debate about whether Neil Innes and Carol Cleveland and Connie Booth were, but Terry Gilliam was definitely a Python.

I was about to ask about Terry Gilliam too. He's one of my favorite directors.

Terry Gilliam is my favorite Python easily. From his animations to "What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?" MP wouldn't have been the same without him.

I don't like Gilliam's animations, I find they are too over-stimulating with noises and movements, and I don't find his zaniness to be entertaining in the same way as the MP skits.

I voted for Michael Palin. But still thinking why isn't Terry Gilliam in the poll.

Sorry about not putting Gilliam in there. I don't know how to edit polls so I can't put Terry Gilliam in there at the moment. Can someone please tell me how?

i don't think you can edit a poll once someone's voted in it, to stop rigging i guess!

I can't choose one of them. It's the team together, or 3/4 of them at least.

I agree that they work well together, athough John Cleese just cuts it for me as being the funniest.

I've decided; Cleese and Palin. :D Magic But I absolutely cannot choose one over the other.

NB:I love Gilliams "Brazil", and "Twelve Monkeys" , and the MP film "Life of Brian", but actually i agree with whoever said didn't like his cartoons. I found them really anxiety-inducing!! ( which is the point i suppose, but it doesn't make me like)

John Cleese and Eric Idle are my favorites. I love John Cleese in Fawlty Towers, too.

I can not vote without Gilliam. I may not necessarily vote for him, but it does not feel the same without him there.

Gilliam, great artist and director with surreal thoughts. Baby who clears the room without his dummy is marvellous.
Jones, also great director and great foil for Cleese. Swamp Prince!
Cleese, best shouty type, and funniest when a pepperpot
Chapman, quite insane. P'ting, p'ting!
Palin, always so cheery, made the best Battle of Britain pilot
Idle, the cheekiest of cheeky chappies. Nudge, nudge

It has to be them all, one big vote for the whole team.
