Did anyone see it on the History channel? What did you think of it?

Missed it, sadly - but David Brin, who appeared in it, says in his blog (davidbrin.blogspot.com) that it will air again in early February!

I saw it. I didn't care for it because the storyline made no sense. 100% of humans were gone, but all of the animals were fine and the earth was perfectly intact. That makes no sense. Things have to fit logically for me to be able to follow. Taking a look at Pripyat was pretty much all that was needed to point out what happens when humans vanish. Everything else vanishes too, at least for quite some time, so really most of the program made little sense.

Yes, I know, making sense was probably less a point than just seeing what the world would do without us. Purely hypothetical. But still...

They were doing what if.

I was asking my boyfriend why would humans died only but not other living things and he told me they are just doing what if.


The earth was still here when a big meter hit and killed off all the dinosaurs but that is only one of the theories of what made them extinct.
