Does anyone know if the new movie is any good? I just watched the original one yesterday for the first time and thought it was excellent. (I think my mom got sick of me comparing him to Flippy from 'Happy Tree Friends' though lol) So like I said, if you've seen the new one, is it any good? Thanks!

I don't know if it's out in England or not, but it's in theaters here in the States. :)

The thing is, I still have not seen the second or third one. I'm hoping that Wikipedia and IMDB will fill me in on anything I've missed.

I know there was one I didnt like it was probably the third. The first one has a lot of emotion and feeling to it which was lost and became just another action flick.

Not even sure ive seen more than 2 of them myself. I have a bad memory but the first is unforgettable.

I just saw the new Rambo last night. I missed the first 30 minutes or so, but the last hour was just constant action. It was awesome.

On the topic of the earlier films, I think I liked the 1st and 3rd ones about equally. The first one was just a sweet action movie. Then the second one sucked because it was trying too hard to recapture the awesomeness of the original and took itself too seriously. The 3rd one was great because they recognized the outlandishness of the earlier movies and the movie was poking fun at itself all the way through, and it was hilarious. The new one is most like the 3rd one I would say.

I've seen it and loved it, gave it a 10/10 on IMDB.

It's kind of like the second movie in that he goes in to rescue a group of people. But I think it's way better.
