One of my fave movies is Van Helsing and Dracula happens to be my fave monster in that movie. I'm starting to believe that Richard Roxburgh's Dracula may be the Aspie of all Draculas.

Reason #1: He talks kinda funny, and it's not just the accent.
Reason #2: He's obessessed with this "war with every living soul."
Reason #3: He gets kinda eccentric, like one moment where he's dancing while he watches a werewolf getting tortured.

Any other justifications about that? Oh yeah, does anyone think that Van Helsing may be an Aspie, cause he doesn't seem to relate well to people.

If Dracula is an Aspie guy, then why is it so easy for him to pick up girls? Or socialize with other vampires?

I'd say Frankenstein or the Creature are probably closer to being Aspies. I often feel kind of like them.

Maybe he's one of those Aspies who can socialize easy (I'm sure there are some out there). But what about Van Helsing? Does anyone think he's somewhat of an Aspie too?

In Stoker's Dracula, van Helsing isn't aspie - he's just written by a Brit. There's a difference. :)

Do you want Van Helsing to have AS? I wouldn't have said he does, but there you go.

Based on what evidence? Have you seen the movie and observed his behavior? He seems to have a couple of problems with people cause he's "not normal."

In the movie Van Helsing, I'd say his problems stem more from the fact that most people, not believing in the monsters he fights for a living, would consider van Helsing to be delusionally insane (in modern parlance, paranoid schizophrenic). Makes it hard to fit in, you know?

In Stoker's original, van Helsing was an expert in European folklore, and was thus able to diagnose young Lucy's condition as incipient vampirism - a diagnosis he was understandably reluctant to share with her physicians. In the movie, he's depicted as more of a cross between James Bond and John McClane (of the Die Hard movies), set in the Rennaissance period and assisted by a more active, geekier version of Leonardo da Vinci.

I am quite vampire things, I might not say straight away but I would say that Dracula in the movie had a few eccentricities, and they might be a few things about being seperated from normal people socialy though it might not show on the surface. I also take note of the awkwardness of Frankenstein's monster. And I also add from Hellsing, the obsesive interest in a single subject the Major.
