TV is so boring now.

What ever happened to the good shows?

I wish Dragon Booster was still on TV.

No show is better than that.

I agree. But that's just because I have limited cable and a houseful of people with bad taste. They watch Gilmore Girls...

j/k.

I agree. It's hard to find something interesting, even with over 200 channels. I spend most of my time listening to a 1960s Rock and Roll station.

What I wouldn't give for 200 channels! 8O I have around 50,but most are national (aka almost unbearable), and the movie channels such as TNT are dubbed.

The rest air few good series, spaced out far in between.

Well, the television writers just settled their strike...which is why we have had to put up with so many repeats of past television
shows lately. Still, television has gotten really bad over the past decade or so.

When you think about it, television has only been around since the early 1950s...and those old television shows seemed to be so
much better written. I saw an old episode of a show called, "Rowan and Martin's Laugh In"...with a very young Golde Hawn. The
show was hysterical with laughter. It seems like the 1960s must have been the "golden era" of television. Or is it because so many people were much more into drugs like LSD?

TV is boring now because it's too corrupt. The same people keep on getting the parts in shows and the same people keep on writing them. It's a clique. If you're related to someone famous or are famous you control TV. More than ever before it's really hard for anyone or anything new, interesting, controversial, challenging or different to break through.

I don't watch TV - not even new shows.

I just buy the whole series on DVD if I think I might like it and watch it at my own pace.

Never heard of Dragon booster though.

The only shows I watch at the moment are Primeval and Torchwood. I'll watch Mitchell and Webb soon though.

Wait a minute!

Are you Ashleigh from Australia?

If so, I am aware that Wheel of Fortune has gone off the air in your country. I can understand why you said that, but I also wants to tell you this. The Price is Right is still going strong in this country, with a host who is very familiar to you!

The price is right and wheel of fortune suck, also i hate how many reality shows are on now, like the ones where they show operations in the hospital and the surf rescue one :x

But there is some cool shows like Heroes, Lost, Terminator, Supernatural, House, NCIS :)

Do you watch any of those shows Cecil?

Knowing that Drew Carey is the host of The Price is Right here, would you watch?

I have been so busy with school, I have't really had any opportunities to watch it lately.

I never watch TV on an actual television anymore. I download loads of shows everyday and load them on to my 500 GB external hard drive and connect this up to my Xbox 360 and use this to watch the shows. I am currently watching Dexter, Criminal Minds, Jericho, Family Guy, Lost, House, CSI, Veronica Mars, Northern Exposure and various BBC documentaries. I hate watching commercials on TV so downloading is great but technically illegal.

I don't even have TV service, ever since I bought my house I just didn't bother. Many of the shows that I like to watch are online, CTV.CA for example has full episodes of comedy central shows.

It's once less bill to pay, so I am not complaining.

I physically cant take the commercials. Everything is thrown at you too fast.

I agree wait for the box sets.

And everybody looks the same in all the Tv shows and movies these days.

I hear REALLY BAD THINGS on whats going to happen following the strike.
I've heard the screen actors guild is close to jumping in.

Also expect to see EVEN MORE reality TV.

And movies and shows arent going to take as many risks so expect to see more remakes and spinoffs and sequels.
