Has anyone seen this? When they first started showing previews for this it kinda freaked me out and made me feel weird. so I didn't go see it. I literally just rented it from itunes, and so far it's great! I can already see it being an obsession with me wanting to get a pet rat and everything. :)

Ratatouille was awesome, especially for a kids movie..

ALL of the Pixar movies are fantastic. "Finding Nemo" was my least favorite, and I was one of the people who thought it deserved to be nominated for best picture (it was a weak year). Have you seen the Toy Story movies? They are the best.

Yes indeed! I was like four or something when toy story came out. Amazing.

I just finished the movie, and all I can say is...wow. So good! I love the animation, the fur was so realistic, and the story, the plot...wow, and Remy, such a handsome rat!! !

It was a good movie. One thing I noticed is that they tried to go for a more realistic look than usual, you can see this most in the scenery and water effects. They usually go for a much more cartoony look.

I rarely dislike a Pixar film. If I had to choose one to dislike it would be Cars, which I just didn't find that interesting. I also was never as impressed with Toy Story like a lot of other people were.

I thought that it was great.

I understand that even the French enjoyed it.

it was a sweet little movie.

pet rats can live up to six years, so think carefully before you get one. if you go that route, get a very young rat, and handle it often. they are incredibly intelligent, can learn their names, can be taught tricks, are extremely social animals, and can be quite affectionate. but it's really mean to them to get one if you are not going to treat it like a dog - interact with it every day. they get bored easily....

we have a dumbo rat now, very mellow variety, very sweet. they really are excellent pets.

I haven't seen it and I will never see it. The quality of Pixar's films has been falling so much that I gave Ratatouille a pass.

yeah, I didn't like cars. It didn't interest me, but my cousin who is four likes it a lot. so we rented it, and had it on while we baked cookies...It was awful, and we soon turned it off.

I really didn't expect to because I was not impressed by the trailers, but I wound up loving it. ^__^

I didn't really like it much. It was about four movies all trying to get out. Brad Bird's ADD personality finally coming out in his work.

'Ratatouille' was an excellent movie. And I could really relate to it, too. I am part French, I've been there, I used to own pet rats, and last year, and I had recently started to cook. I thought it was a great movie. It gave me more of a chance to explore my culture and I've always thought rats were simply adorable. I don't think it was Pixar's greatest masterpiece ever, but I totally approve of it. Plus it was way better than Shrek the Third...

I haven't watched it, but after reading this thread I feel like renting it. :)
