has anyone else seen this?
it's a documentary on the world record for the first donkey kong, following the record holder (billy Mitchell, a complete and utter jerk, so full of himself he might as well schedule a wedding) and the newcomer. it's really interesting.

I will make sure to rent it soon. Is Mario referred to as "Jumpman" in this movie?

they mostly say 'you' because it's the character they are playing as, and most of the people have been playing it for so long, they see themselves in place of mario, or jumpan.
oh yeah, and donkey kong is technically jumpman's pet.

Haven't seen the documentary but heard the (positive, glowing) review of it several months ago-so made mental note to put it on my "watch list" (in a good way).
Wasn't into video games as kid nor did I play DK when I finally did start playing video games, however I still find the culture of interest. Kinda' thought I might see mention of it on WP (since so many folks are fans of video games-both old & new), sooner or later & now here it is.
