i've never seen one of his films, but I love his personality.

I think his sponsors were irked by his constant railing against "cummeshuls"...

I don't dislike him, nor do I deny the quality or importance of his films. But I find them awful hard to get into. It's an era I don't particularly like, and I don't find any of his films very scary or thrilling. I can't really explain why.

I grew up with Hitchcock, and I've seen every one of his films, plus AHP seasons 1-3 (which I own).
I'm sort of a Hitchcock mega-fan.
My favorite Hitch film...it's hard to say. Either Psycho or Vertigo.

I liked most of them.
I grew up with Hitch films.
Ever since 2nd grade I was a fan.
It wasn't until maybe 4th or 5th grade that I realized that nobody else in my age group watched old movies.
I preferred them.
It's not like that's all I watched, but it was definitely a majority.
I grew out of children's shows around the age of 8.
Some people would say that my childhood was deprived...
I like to think it was "enlightened".

I love Hitchcock's movies!

In my opinion, Rear Window is the best of his works
and you can identify with Jimmy Stewart's character.

I like Vertigo as well.

I hate Hitchcock, and it's a major problem for a film studies student because he comes up at least twice a term in every class. =_____= I'm not particularly fond of most "classics", but his are even more hype and less talent, especially the Birds, which is the worst film I've ever seen save for Eragon (and at least that has the source material to blame).
