Joss Whedon is to Western TV what Shinichiro Watanabe is to Japanese anime. They both superimpose a brilliant motif upon a background that you would never think would go with it. (ex: Firefly = western motif + space setting, Cowboy Bebop = jazz/bebop/blues motif + space setting)

Well, he's done it again! He actually takes the Aspie-ish supervillain stereotype and makes him the lovable protagonist, while the extremely NT superhero comes in to foil his plans at world domination (and romance). So it ends up being something like...

Dr. Horrible = a cheesy musical + superheroes and villains!

I have watched it a couple of times now. It is easily one of the best things I have found online to watch.

It went up on Hulu.com first, then was taken down so that DVDs could be sold at ComicCon International in San Diego. Then sales weren't as high as they hoped, I suppose, because the three episodes went back up at Hulu.
