Did anyone else catch this movie on CBS? It's a true story about a boy with Tourette's who grows up to be a teacher and ends up becoming Teacher of the Year in Georgia. I thought it was a very nice enlightening movie. For those of you who missed it, I heard it'll be released on DVD sometime next month. It's a Hallmark film.

Another great film where Tourette's is prominant is "Phoebe in Wonderland", which is about a ten-year-old girl (played by Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning's little sister) with Tourrette's, OCD, and schizophrenia traits. In the meantime, she's also trying to land the lead in her school play, Alice in Wonderland. This was a 2008 Sundance film. I don't know when it'll be released on DVD, but it is available for download.

I saw it. I liked it, it was really interesting.

As for the other one, where is it DLable? Legitly? or "Aquireable by alternative methods?

I liked it. Noticed the line ''all ducks have Tourette's''? Think I'll start a thread: ''All _____ have ______'', see what pops up.

Yeah, the first thing I thought of was that book "All Cats Have Asperger's". I've never read it, but I've seen it mentioned on here a ton of times.

. My brother has Tourettes and I remember others teasing him (though not as much as what Brad went through). My brother learned to muffle his vocal tics but the physical ones he did not worry about.

Now we need to see the success of an Aspie kid. Brad is too NT, in the social sense. But these sorts of movies are good in that we still have a long way to go in terms of social inclusion of persons with patience testing challenges.

I think would be a terrific model for anyone with AS. He was very laid-back and had a positive outlook on life. And his actor was pretty cute. :wink:
