Ever since people who started watching original films (Planet of the Apes, War of the Worlds), there were many negatives and positives based on the remade versions of the films.

Best Remakes:

Planet of the Apes (2001)
War of the Worlds (2005)
Godzilla (1998)
Next Three Days (2010)
Dawn of the Dead (2004)

Worst Remakes:

The Wicker Man (2006)
Quarantine (2008)
The Crazies (2010)

I'm beginning to wonder if some people are starting to like the original or remakes after some remakes were filled with negative reviews or positive reviews.

If you have any best to worst remakes, try to list a few if you can

I can't think of many off the top of my head right now.

Some of my favorite remakes:
The Thing (1982)
Dawn of the Dead (2204)
The Fly (1986)

Some remakes I don't like:
The Wicker Man (2006)
The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008)
The Shining (1997)

The only remake I really like is Peter Jackson's King Kong.

I guess the only remake I ever hated was that animated remake of The King and I, but I have never actually seen the original.

No wonder why people hate the remake of Planet of the Apes...I wonder why?

Yes, it might be boring, but there are a few differences to the film.

Charlton Heston only appeared in the remake for about 2-3 minutes, Wahlberg was kinda good in his performance, the ending was a cliffhanger, some funny moments, and a few epic battles.

It might be crap, but its still kinda good.

I'll admit that it has some nice moments here and there (particularly Tim Roth's performance) but overall, it blows.

No need to care about Planet of the Apes. The superior Rise of Planet of the Apes reboots the entire franchise in the right direction.

I don't know why ppl like the "NOT THE BEES AHHHHHHHHH" quote in the Wicker Man....

The Wicker Man remake is kinda bad too, except that Nicolas Cage did a really good job when he was acting like an insane police officer.

That was funny...but I now know why they call Nicolas Cage's The Wicker Man an "unintentional comedy".

I usually prefer the original

I enjoy 3:10 to Yuma and heard good things about True Grit, but I still haven't seen it.
King Kong is fun to watch when you just want something on. Good fx and I think I love Naomi Watts.
Body Snatchers I think has been remade countless times. I think I liked the 70 era one best.
I actually liked Rob Zombie's Halloween remake. I thought the violent nature and back story was effective unlike some of his other stuff.
