The only Family guy episode I've liked thus far is Blue Harvest... not only as a tribute to A New Hope but also because of the fact that it didn't have that many cutaway jokes that make my head spin so much...

I had a friend in high school who would do something very similar to people.

The thing is pretty apt, I gotta say. But what really makes it funny is that it's Stewie. It's hilarious anytime they have him do something a kid would do, since of course he's usually a mad genius. The Teletubbies sequence springs to mind. Also when he built a device to control the weather... so that he could ruin the broccoli crops and not have to eat broccoli anymore.

Unfortunately, this show has a history of either going to far just when it's getting funny, or just plain being repulsive... I cannot stand that dad... well, except on occasion (like when he punched what he thought was a man and found out it was a pregnant lady. "She's going into labor!" "You mean, 'He's going into labor.'").

I don't need to play that link as I know what it is...
I think Family Guy is great for adult humour. I watch the show with subtitles because I get enraged when the sound is lost because of the digital feed. I sometimes laugh at the inaccuracies in the subtitles. In the beginning sequence, I'm not sure if it's "He's our Famly Guy" or "He's a Famly Guy" I'm sure it's the first, (note I delete the "i" as it is not used phonetically

It's great to have adult animation for adults though, I still don't get if the adults can hear him or not... Or - just ignore him

It's "He's a Family Guy".

But there is some debate over whether Stewie is saying "laugh and cry" or "effin' cry".

There is no category for "Love it AND hate it!"

I hate it because it's annoying, and I love it because it's true-to-life!

I had real trouble enjoying Family Guy after I watched that South Park where they ragged on it. There's still some funny bits, though; "This is more intense than that time I forgot how to sit down"

Family Guy owns South Park. They're just jealous they took away from South Park's ratings. A seven year old could come up with a South Park episode, it's just a bunch of obscenities. Family Guy is actually clever.
