Could the genre be: comedy, drama, sci-fi, suspense/thriller, western, et cetera?

Start talking fellow Aspies!

Sit-com, British style, but without the funny accents and silly walks.

In real life it's a school comedy/drama, in my mind it's more like a shonen anime.

Maybe my life is a bit like that tv show "Murder she wrote" where things hapen in real life, and I turn them into a story in my head, except it is fantasy not mystery. Other then that, maybe a bit of comedy, a bit like a bit of normal stuff hapen, and I usualy come up with the jokes to make the story a bit funnier, a bit like Ramond, where I am Ramond. But the main theme is geeky stuff.

My life would make a very boring movie. I could see myself as a character in a movie for "The Office" but really that's about it.

I actually was invited to meet the casting director for a reality TV show once but she didn't think I was good TV material :P

It depends on what perspective you take;

Detective story a lot of the time, from where I'm sitting.

Kitchen Sink drama from the outside.

Road Movie, Romantic Comedy, Tragedy, at times in the past.

etc ...
.

One of them high school movies that normally star Hilary Duff, where the girl is always falling over in front of everyone and other stuff like that.

I'd say drama probably fits it best. Yes, there are funny moments, but drama has definitely taken over through the years. I'd actually say horror at some points, too. There was this one thing that happened to me a few years ago, and my friends described it as "being in a horror movie scene".

Movies which have a happy ending. Except there's this one character in these stories which isn't happy at the end, while everyone else is.

My life is like a quirky foreign film without subtitles.

Sort of a cross between Amelie and City of Lost Children with perhaps a bit of Haute Tension (but not too bad) built in.

My life is like a Japanese fetish porno flick. Except there is no sex or anything. In other words, my life is really weird.

Definately one of those tragic drama films, where the laid back main charater strives through life viewing life with humor and when the next big road block comes along, she gets up, dusts herself off and goes 'alright, how do I get past this then?'. One of the ones with the background commentry of the ludercrosles of life and unexpected twists and turns.

The trouble with that plot is it can go either way. It can either turn out to be a tragic drama and end badly, or a uplifting against all odds drama. Hoping for the latter.
