Hey, for you TRON fans our there, am I the only one who suspects that Kevin Flynn from TRON is an Aspie? It's been speculated that Back to the Future's Dr. Emmett Brown is an Aspie, which is almost undoubtedly true, but it's harder to tell with Flynn.

In favor:
a. Flynn was ENCOM's best video game designer and had the highest score on Space Paranoids in history (my fellow Tronnies will know that score was 999,000).
b. Flynn's relationship with Lora Baines didn't work out, which is possibly because of his obsession with video games.
c. In Legacy, he is obsessed with perfecting the Grid, tolerating no imperfection. This trait was passed on to Clu. However, upon discovering isomorphic algorithms, Flynn saw the error in that. Clu, having a preprogrammed function, was incapable of realizing Flynn was wrong and treated the ISOs as any other imperfection.

Against:

a. Flynn is very amiable and social. However, Alan Bradley notes in the first movie that all of his friends are teenagers who share his passion for gaming.
b. Flynn did get married, and presumably had a happy marriage until Canas' death.

So, any comments?

Maybe you are since it's a fictional character in a fictional movie and the term "aspie" sounds lame anyway.

In the 2ed movie he sounded a lot like he is a cult leader than a programer..
