As you can tell by my avatar and custom title, this is my newest obsession. Dracula: DaLI is a 1995 film directed by Mel Brooks (of Young Frankenstein fame), and starring Leslie Nielsen as the Count. Though panned by critics and often overlooked by movie-watchers, I find it to be absolutely hysterical; a real diamond in the rough. Lots of slapstick humor, subtle references to other Dracula films and even the occasional gross-out joke. I love this movie so much that I'm currently working on a fansite dedicated to it, and I plan on creating many arts and crafts based on the movie.

So, with all that said... Who else loves this movie!? :D

I've seen it a long time ago, it was funny. I like Leslie Nielsen and Steve Bucheme.
I'm not aware of any fan sites for it, so I guess you might as well make one.

I think it's a bit older, but Repossessed is a pretty good spoof movie too if you get bored.

Actually, it's not Steve Bucheme in the movie; it's Steven Weber.

And make a fansite I shall! It will be the most comprehensive D:DaLI fansite on the web.

I don't think I'll get bored with this movie anytime soon, but thank you for the suggestion.

it had it's moments. I kind of see it as the Police Story - type movie. Go for it.

btw - Leslie Nielsen is also a star in Forbidden Planet, back in the 50s...as a serious role.

I think I've seen this movie (although years ago) and that I enjoyed it.

My favourite Vampire comedy is Love at First Bite, although I have not seen that in even more years (since I saw Dead and Loving It).
