I have seen proof that Hannah Montana is a bad influence on young children.

Mainly the fact that after watching Hannah montana and getting the singing doll and all of the different stuff my cousin has started to imitate pole dancing o_0;;

So yes, I have proof that it is a bad influence for children. Y'know, aside from the fact that Miley Cyrus has all those photos on the web.

Anyway, my question is what cartoons or child programmes have you seen that have been an obvious bad influence to a child/children that you know?

Whatever happened to Silverstone and So Weird? Disney is losing it.

I would say that most shows on adult swim are awful. They are hardly funny, sometimes even dehumanizing.

Adult Swim isn't meant for children, however. At least I can't imagine it being so.

I didn't need any "proof" to know that Hannah Montana is a bad influence on children... the fact that she's a Disney creation should be proof enough.

George Bush is a bad influence on children. So is Jenny McCarthy.

Is there anything that he is NOT a bad influence on?

Are you sure there isnt something else that caused your cousin to imitate pole dancing, I've watched the show and there isnt anything remotely close. As for the show itself, i dont think its a bad influence but Miley Cyrus is questionable as an influence with all the pics on the internet. I think Disney tries pretty hard to make sure their shows are very G rated.

having 2 2-year-old children around the place, Disney is on morning 'till night. I haven't watched Hanna Montana that much, but it's on constantly (as far as I can tell, there are only 4 Disney shows on...not counting marathons of one of those 4..;)

I'm just sick of the Disney channel...;)

If there is I'm not aware of it.

But when your cousin starts making her Hannah Montana doll pole dance with the microphone to the music and then imitates it herself you know that there is something seriously wrong.

Sympathies! My 2008 Zombie Survival Guide tip-of-the-day Calendar is now obsolete - gone. Now what? Egads.

I could not find an appropriate substitute for 2009 (Zombies rule) so I bought I SpongeBob Square Pants calendar. Sigh.....feeling sorry for myself. Just could not handle the 'cute' calendars with puppies/kittens, lighthouses, garden scenes, etc. (yuck).

But it's better than Hannah Montana, yes?

Miss my Zombie tips too.

You know, pole dancing is being taught as an excersize now. Apparently it's really good for your back and legs.

Anyway, just because the star does something doesn't make it reflect on the character played. It's a little something called ACTING.
