I LOVE Strangers with Candy, Kids in the Hall, Sara Silverman, Upright Citizens Brigade and other ensemble comedies. I don't realy get sitcoms with blockbuster stars - like Charlie Sheen. I prefer the quirky - smaller budget - shows with actors who are writers. Or is, writers who are actors? I'd love to be in one/write for one.

Anyone else gravitate towards this format of comedic entertainment?

I got a copy of this episode on tape years ago and my husband and I still chuckle and mention it sometimes.

And another from the same episode:

I've thought about using Jerry Blank for my avatar but I'm afraid only a few people will get it - and I'd scar the young ones for life.

It looks like she's wearing a tube top, though.

I loved Kids in the Hall, my sister got me the first three seasons on DVD.

Some of my favorite skits:

God is Dead

Daddy Drank

Killer Monkeys

And damn, I can't find my favorite skit from the series, the anal probing aliens "The only thing we've really found out is that one in ten doesn't really seem to mind."

I'm sure I could list dozens of videos, really, but I'll stop with these three.

I've seen that one, it's pretty good. The one alien saying he's filled the void by taking up a side hobby, making photos of the probed areas or something to that effect and asking the other guy if wanted to see them. And the other guy saying, "No, I would hate that," as only Dave Foley can.

I can't find the clip but there was this one Kids in the Hall skit where one of the guys plays this kind of Aspie-OCD guy who gets kidnapped on this way to do errands.

The whole time he's being driven around he keeps looking at his list of errands and trying to check them off. Like, go to drycleaners...

Anyone remember that one? It was one of those aspie ah-ha moments where I recognized myself as an oddball.

It stuck in my head because the only way I can really get anything done is with a list wadded up in my hand. If I so much as put the list in my pocket I forget what I'm supposed to be doing.
