I just saw this again on TCM and was amazed that I had forgotten it for so long. I loved this as a kid (I assume they must have played it on Saturday morning cartoons) and I suspect it inspired some of the art I do now.

I also like the various messages that seem to be threaded through it, including that of finding a way of loosening up without carrying it too far and ending up a mess (and having no self-control at all).

I brought it here because I love it and because I can't help wondering how a cartoon like this appeals to Aspies, mainly due to the difference that it has from others visually. I find it very pleasing to the eye, simple, straight-forward, but smart.

And of course, the underdog revenge aspect of the plot doesn't hurt, either.

My mom had the book and while she was teaching would encourage her students to read it.
I find this 'toon especially compelling because I'm a total geometry junkie. In my artowrk over the years, I always kept some amount of symmetry, order, and even though sometimes it may seem stale, I find it especially pleasing.

A+
for Euclid.
