Does anyone here watch him? I think his style of humour is hilarious and would probably go down very well with many here. Search YouTube for "Charlie Brooker" and see what you think. :)

I've spent the last few hours obsessively catching up on his Guardian collumnurl] and [url=http://twitter.com/charltonbrooker]twitterfeed

Is it just me who ends up shouting "get out of my brain, Charlie" while reading or watching him?

nathan barley was one of the best sitcoms of recent years.

people who lived & worked in shoreditch/media around that era say its scarily close to reality, and most casual viewers will miss out on the references & in jokes, but IMO it worked amazingly well anyway (even if you werent there) - a really great piece of writing.

Charlie is the man

"Look at people, walking around, drinking cups of tea, getting little bits of sandwich round their mouths as they eat. God, they're disgusting. I say f**k people. People ruin everything. Look at them. Look at their eyes and their ears and their hair, growing on their stupid f**king heads. They make me f**king puke. God, I wish they were dead! All of you, right now! I f**king hate you and I sincerely hope you just f**king well DIE!"

Totally. Ahead of it's time that show, would love to see it's return. Still the best website name ever http://www.trashbat.co.ck/

Brooker and Morris is a dream combo.

Does anyone else think Charlie might have AS?

He has mentioned quite a few things about himself in his book "Dawn of the Dumb" that I think suggests he could have. First of all there's his general "misanthropic" attitude towards other people, which I think is quite common in people with AS, as not being able to understand people can lead to frustration. He also mentions he hates parties, and finds small talk extremely difficult. He has allso mentioned that he has trouble with organisation, etc.

Well I could just be projecting my own AS on to him, what does everyone else think?

Sooooooooooooo.... after seeing the poster for Alice in Wonderland when out to see another movie this weekend, I gotta say, not so sure I want Burton in charge of a remake. I think the new Alice in Wonderland might be something you want to keep little Jimmy and Janie away from until there at least ten.

Yes and I don't even play computer games. I watch anything Charlie Brooker does, he's brilliant.

I'm also a big fan of Charlie Brooker. I only discovered him earlier this year but I've seen and read a lot of what he's done. He's exactly my type of humour. I mean, I laugh at other types of humour but his is the kind of humour that I mostly do myself.

Gameswipe was really good, but the thing that stuck with me most was when Dara O'Briain was talking about how games deny you access to parts of the game until you've unlocked them even though you already own that content. I just relate to that so well because there are so many games I've gotten stuck on and never beaten.
