Let's cut through the crap, I know we got some serious MST3K fans here. What do you think are the best episodes, or just some of your personal favorites?

"Manos: Hands of Fate"
Arguably the best episode of the show, easily the best of the Joel Hodgson run. The one movie that made Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank feel guilty. Spoony pointed out the riffs are so famous you can almost replay them in your head if you watch the movie straight.

"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians"
Another classic from the Joel era. Not only is the movie infinitely riff-able, but it gave us the classic "Patrick Swayze Christmas"

"Operation Double 007"
A personal favorite of mine, I feel this episode doesn't get enough attention. It has tons of great gags, the chart comparing Sean Connery's life to his brother Neil's kills me every time, and of course you get more Torgo!

"Pod People"
Another underrated episode from the Hodgson run, but it shows the kind of crap Leslie Nielsen was in before he got in on the joke and starting doing spoofs. The one-two punch of the riffs they have during the stop motion scene is some of the show's best writing.

"Hobgoblins"
One of the few I think where they personally attack a filmmaker (Rick Sloane) over how bad the movie was. Also the physical comedy of Mike and the bots trying to escape is priceless.

"Giant Spider Invasion"

I like referencing episodes that introduce running gags, and this one introduced a gag so famous it carried over to Rifftrax. Altogether now...PACKERS!! !

"Prince of Space"
The introduction of Krankor!

"Invasion of the Neptune Men"
During the Mike Nelson era I always liked it best when Mike and the bots would emotionally break down over the film's quality, and this one had one of their best breakdowns. Then again since this is a kid's movie that includes actual WWII bombing footage of Japan, I'd say this movie had it coming! Also, the RETURN of Krankor!

"Space Mutiny"
Easily the best episode of the Mike Nelson era. Every last riff is priceless and the break down during the credits is one of the best. Stupid 80's!

"The Starfighters"
Another personal favorite, but watch them riff on the re-fueling footage and you'll see why I like this episode so much. Only MST3K could make an incredibly BORING movie like this entertaining!

Your favorites?

Space Mutiny
Slab Bulkhead, Thick McRunFast, Punch Sideiron, Touch Rustrod, Dirk Hardpeck, Big McLargeHuge, Bob Johnson (oh wait...)
Top Favorite.

Riding With Death
The secret agent Ben Murphy (keep on truckin'; peace) and his new best friend Buffalo Bill star in "South Carolina's national movie."

The Final Sacrifice
The geeky kid Troy and the alcoholic hockey-haired ROWSDOWER! take on the Ziox people of Canada.

Quest of the Delta Knights
Starring Leonardo da Vinci. I forgot to add that, "I'M COMIIIIING!!"

The Pumaman
A non-British person in Britain is taught by the mysterious Vadinho (an onion) that he has the power of a flying(?) puma.

Hobgoblins
What can I say? If it wasn't bad enough it even spawned a sequel. And of course the pig sticker song.

Cave Dwellers
A movie where our hero suddenly has a hang-glider

Invasion of the Neptune Men
A movie so bad I literally prevented a friend of mine from ever showing the episode in her film club. It' also the movie where they blow up the Hitler Building. What's next, the Mussolini Mall? Or the Pinochet Petting Zoo?

Time Chasers
The incredibly ugly Nick (Crow thinks so) invents a time-traveling plane to show the future will be run by food courts and gay agent kids. But the evil GenCorp Robertson with a library for an office wants to corrupt history and its up to Nick to end it with a scene that looks like it was stolen for Jurassic Park.

Danger: Diabolik!
The only movie from MST3K that I found to have more than a 2.0/10 rating on IMDb (5.3). Also the last ever episode of MST3K and was still great!

Godzilla vs. Megalon

One of my favorites from way back. Just thinking about it makes me laugh. Especially jokes made on that kid. "Yeah, it's a pity we can't kill you and get away with it."

Alien from L.A.

"Big boned" Cathy Ireland falls into a bottomless pit and unfortunately doesn't stay there. This is one of the ones that is funny even before the jokes come along.

Overdrawn at the Memory Bank

This is actually a recent discovery for me, one that my husband had picked up in a set. It's hypnotic. Raul Julia, before he could act or even speak clearly (and yet even then, he had his moments... sigh...), in a story that I can scarcely believe was made for PBS.

The Wild World of Bat Woman

If I got the name right. It's been a while, but I just remember laughing so hard at that weird radio sequence. Must get that one out again and watch to find out why any of it happened, assuming that I'll be able to tell.

Eegah!

Watch out for snakes! Holy crap, this thing is one long quote. There's water in the tires! And that's even before the riffs!

Wild Rebels

"So you couldn't bread the chicken..." This was, as far as I can remember, my first MST3K. And what a starter it was! I laughed myself soggy. From then on, I was taping and saving. I missed a lot of them just the same, but I tried.

There are so many more, plus favorite Rifftrax (if you haven't checked them out, I encourage it. Star Wars Episode III is particularly good. "Darth... Timberlake." Also the 3rd Harry Potter... well, all 3 that they've done.). But I don't have time.

I forgot to add Soultakers. That was another great episode. So many 80s references in the beginning! Starring Joe Estevez.

There was one magnificent one with "Revenge of the Killer Bees" or something? I forget the exact title but it was really funny. With the random bowler guy at the end?
Also, "Samson of The Silver Mask" ("Samson the Silver Maskman"? Again, a bit unsure about that title - it has those words arranged in some order...) was HILARIOUS. That might not be the exact title, but it was something like that. Graveyards. Mexican wrestling-esque masks. The Booby Hatch. Greatness. XD

Also, one of the very Best ever:
"The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed Up Zombies"
Or, "TISCWSLaBMZ" as some like to call it. XD
Cash Flagg (director, producer and lead actor) is a legend because of that magnificent mess. XD

Also, "Pumaman" (aka: "Pew-mah man" = YES.
