I know every line by heart, I've seen every episode at least 30 times. It is the only way I can understand any type of irony and the only time I actually laugh. It isn't the threatening,mean humour like real-life that makes me angry, it's a safe, innocent kind. I have all the DVDs and watch them every day, I collect various Lucy items too. I have salt and pepper shakers, bobble-heads, a Lucy lunchbox, a ceramic Lucy toaster(it's not real),a Lucy pillow, a Lucy purse, a Lucy blanket, a ceramic Lucy phone(it's not real either),a Lucy watch, and a Lucy lampshade. I even dyed my hair red to look like her's.
I don't like Fred, he's annoying and mean. He acts mean and won't let Ethel do anything, which bothers me. Ricky doesn't WANT to let Lucy do anything, but she does it anyway. She has the nicest clothes and gets to go do all this fun stuff, travel, go on all kinds of adventures and when she messes up it's always okay anyway. Nothing bad ever happens. She does funny things but she isn't mean to anyone. She's also really smart too--if you think about it.
My favorite dress she wore was in "Country Club Dance". It was old hollywood glamour, which I love. It was strapless, with white flowers on top. It hugged her hips and flowed out towards the bottom. I think it was blue. She also carried a paper fan. Another outfit of her's is her black dress that goes over pants--she wears it over her tan pants because the front part is gone--it looks sort of like an apron.
My favorite episode was "Tennessee Bound", where they tied up the twins and everyone so that they could get out of jail. I think Ethel is really sweet and would be a nice friend to have. She doesn't get angry when Lucy does silly things, sometimes she does but they always make up again, so do Lucy and Ricky, like he said in the song:
