Hello, I am Gwenfloor. It is based off of a name of a character in stories that I write.

I am 17 and am diagnosed with Aspergers. The doctors have said that it is very mild compared to others, but its influence on me still feels overwhelming. My aspergers causes me to have frequent urges to stand up and walk around when I am sitting or staying in the same place for a long time, even when it is not appropriate. It is much less likely to happen if I am concentrating on a task. I also have a hard time reading covert body language and have trouble discerning sarcasm, subtle threats, and innuendo. I also sometimes clap, rock my legs back and forth, if intensely thinking, excited, or deep in thought. Does anyone know why this is, other than the obvious (aspergers)?

Welcome Gwenfloor....Hope you stick around and enjoy WP...right now there is a battle going on involving mutant,garlic eating soldiers...so...its a little crazy at the moment.

As far as why you do the things you mentioned...AS far as I know...just sounds like AS to me...What are your storeys about?

I write stories in my free time. I often post them on messageboard communities. I am also planning on getting the ones offline published.
