Mom of 12 yr old autistic son looking for help

I joined this site after searching for a site that deals with older autistic kids and their special needs. I am tired of seeing my son being hurt because he was unfortunate enough to be born with the special challenges of autism. My son loves x box live gaming especially Halo. He was so excited when the new Halo game game out last week. But he has a very hard time getting any group to let him play. He is not the quickest at understanding the games and the rules but still wants to play. Is there any autistic kids out in x box land that play together? He already feels like an outsider at school. (He is in special education because he cannot handle large classes) I don't want him to feel like an outsider at his favorite past time. Any suggestions?
