hello everyone,

im 20 years old, i live in denmark.
i was diagnosed with aspergers 3 months ago, the problem is i really dont know for sure by myself, if you know what i mean.
so i was searching the web and by accident stumpled on here several times over the last weeks, so i decided to create an account, maybe it will help me get some certainty.

well i hope i will get to learn something and meet some interesting people while doing it.

so on to the details
first off let me start by saying that AS wasnt the first thing the state (yes the state is very involved in denmark)had on the table for me over the last year, first there was a social reconditioning project, then a school, then i was deemed psychologically unfit for study and sent to a therapist, for a long time i was getting more and more frustrated as it felt i wasnt a real person anymore.
everyone treated me differently i was suddenly a 'ticking bomb' in their eyes, a couple of months went on like this with almost weekly sessions.
then the therapist said he wanted to sent me to a full psychiatric evaluation, i spent a month nervous as hell.
it took about 6 hours for the evaluation and when he was done he told me i had AS.
at the time i didnt know what that even meant, im not even sure i do know, hence the profile status.
i feel like if i cant understand what AS is i will never be sure if i have it.

so basically im hoping you all will put up with some questions that may seem stupid.

Hi oodain.. welcome here! you could read around and participate in the posts around here and find something interesting for you and /or similar to your situation from other people or anything else that you could relate to and start finding out about or understanding yourself further and/or about AS to give you more clarity and lessen any stress that you may have about all this..
