I was referred to this forum by a friend who I am reasonably sure does not actively post anymore, but regardless, hello. I am a new member here and while I know that I am somewhere on the Autism spectrum, I have not been diagnosed yet because of my parents' severe denial. My nickname is Twona, or Tuna.

I have been diagnosed with depression and an anxiety disorder and I have some sort of dissociative disorder, but I have not been able to be diagnosed with that, either, again, because of my parents believing that I am making things up or otherwise exaggerating the severity of my mental problems.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and hopefully making some new friends!

I have the denying mother. She half the time tells me I don't need the adderall for the ADHD I DEFINITELY have and refuses to hear that I'm on the spectrum. Even though she loves to tell me about how I wouldn't let anybody touch me as a kid. It sucks ): but welcome to the community!
