Hi all! Just wanted to say a quick hello before chatting more in the forums. Quick info- I'm SUPER into research and reading papers so I'm looking forward to sharing/finding some of those here with anyone interested! Cheers!

Is there any subject you are predominantly interested in?

I'm just about to start reading up on the psychology of happiness and hysteria in order to do a proper reading of Katherine Mansfield's 'Bliss' for an assignment. I'm not a great modernist fan, but I always like a good bit of psychoanalysis so it evens out.

The main body will discuss how hysteria was viewed through the last couple of centuries and compare those views on women to modern feminist critical theory. I aim to highlight the cultural perceptions on irrationality that stigmatises women's sexual behaviour and examine how these perceptions are subverted by the illusion of female happiness until the point of hysteria.

If you have any views/papers related that you think are worth reading let me know.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! @ApertaVerbum I've read mostly studies on things that are useful in everyday life- e.x. supplements, different therapies, etc. Where the results could immediately impact someone's life :) If I come across any of those studies I'll message you!
