I have done plenty of embarissing things. I once walked into the wrong toilets at my local hospital and wondered who had painted the walls a different colour... A puzzled looking lady held the door open for me as I walked in. I just didn't think fast enough to realize my mistake!

On a rounded flattish stone on the local beach I found what I thought to be an ancient symbol half worn away over time. My brother was saying to put it down. I said it was a rare find.. Some sort of cave painting and it should be in a museum. He eventually told me. Someone had drawn a picture of a ladies genitals onto the stone with a black marker pen and it wasn't old at all. I never knew that was what it was. I had to admit that he was right and I rather embarissingly dropped the stone. I was discusted in dissbelief. Yuck!

had to leave a car on a bridge because I had mushrooms and didn't realize the effects. Parents were livid.

Made fake ids at my employment which resulted in the RCMP doing a search of my home. Parents were livid.

Prescribed my self medication and was caught and had to get the parents to bail me out with gettin a lawyer . Parents were livid.

Attenter a bday party and my gift was the transformer alternative for poor kids nobody liked ( go bots) kid was livid

Was caught looking at my teachers dress during nap time when I was in kindergarten. Parents were livid.

I can't seem to forget and I literally just cycle thru all those moments all the time without me doing anything. Just subconscious thoughts that pop out.

Never in my life.

...oh, wait, this isn’t the “post a blatant lie” thread - oops.

Loads of things, mainly by being completely oblivious.

I still have "Oh! Now I get what was happening!" moments about strange (to me, anyway) events from years ago.

I'm also painfully wary of fresh embarassment now.

Plenty of embarrassing things, but we're all human.

One example is that a few days ago, a male relative (who I absolutely hate because of how poorly he treats me and my NT sister) visited without calling ahead of time, which I think is common sense.

When I walked into the house, I saw him sitting on the couch talking to our mom and when we saw each other, he shouted many times at me (caps lock intentional), "GIVE ME A HUG! GIVE ME A HUG!"

I thought he was drunk off of his ass, so I locked myself in my room until he left which he did a short time later.

you shouldn't worry. you sound like my XH he did several of those things or same type--

(but not for same reasons,

eg fake id was for smoking and getting cigarettes for himself and his friends --
and he got away with everything)

also not caught (or caught but forgiven) unlike you. wonder how come....

he also tricked a girl who his mom was supposed to be babysitting (who was older than him )

into climbing inside a suitcase and zipping her up (with her agreement) saying it was a game...

he also set a park on fire with some friends when he was a pre-teen (they didn't expect the flames to spread- they were just playing with fire-) and got away with it too (not caught)

i mean the naughtiness is the same.

i love reading or hearing things like that as long as they're at a certain level , about people's childhood or young years--
it just sounds funny. and innocent naughtiness.
after a certain age though it seems unfunny.

my naughty brother did lots of things like
writing his entire math test in whiteout (the whiteout pens)
because 'there's no rule saying you can't'

and got in trouble all the time and still does. he's also just like you.

i find people like this very amusing because they seem to get into such situations naturally without trying so you cannot put malicious intent to explain it--
it's just hilarious and i wish i had stories like that to share.

you shouldn't think about them in a negative way because i think lots of people, especially young boys who are smart, do these type of things. among other things it shows the person is testing limits as they're growing up... to get a sense of what's acceptable.

i saw boys at school do worse- like hacking into school system and changing kids' grades in that grade over the months- well it was just one boy, but he would change grades for whoever asked him to.
but he never got caught either... :|

i guess communication skills and social instincts are helpful to naughtiness, in getting away with it..
