Hi!

I'm a 40 year old divorced guy who has always had trouble with the supposed "simple stuff" of life. I never knew why until a couple of weeks ago, diagnosed with Aspergers. I'm still learning the basics but SO much of what I've read here and in books just blows me away, so cool to not be alone.

I've done OK in life I guess, luckily computer nerds can do well, at least here, but I still struggle with aniety/depression/etc. Now, I'm just really happy now that I know what the F**CK the deal is , hoping to do less fumbling through things and more of reading nice lists of common troubles and various solutions. I can't wait to see what's next.

This forum seems great and has already improved my life. Rock on!

Welcome. I just discovered my own diagnosis about a month ago, at the age of 34. It is a lot to take in all at once, and this site certainly helps.

Hey hey!! !

Many thanks for the warm welcomes!! ! I love this place already

I just got home from vacation, else I would have replied sooner! It was neat to be around a lot of people (family, Thanksgiving) and *finally understand* a little of what was making me anxious!! Much easier to deal than before. Lots of hope for the future!!
