Yay lil' girl!! ! :D And now for your own diagnosis.
Somehow, I think its a safe bet that, *A-Hem*, you're an AS/ADHD mix, same as me because -

   Oh, so it's your fault I haven't been able to sleep or sit still for 3 days. I took the dang curtains off yesterday to wash them. 8O And when I'm sitting I'm bouncing, twitching or basically just annoying everyone around me. Heck, I'm annoying myself!

And there is no doubt in my mind I am, either. She is what I was at that age, including the obsession with songs and lyrics.

Muahahaha!! ! Curtains?!? I'll see your curtains and raise you a 'dozer!! !
I'm annoying myself as well, and, heck, why not, also the neighbors. I regraded my gravel driveway with a bulldozer. Then had the driveway paved today. Worked until dark, and finished most of it. I still need to cut away the bank near the top before I pave that part, but before I can cut away the bank I have to remove a huge dead oak tree. ...and we'll have fun, fun, fun, now that Daddy took the T-bird a-waaaay...

Q: What's worse than a hopped-up insomniac hyper ADDer?
A: A hopped-up insomniac hyper ADDer on a bulldozer!

8O

The song came on the radio

Suddenly the 'Tom Jones' gene kicked in

I found myself thinking, "ya, he's cool"

It can be dangerous to be a 9 year old Aspie with a belly-dancing mother!

(Sorry about the size of the photo. I tried editing it on Photobucket but kept getting error messages and ther internet shutting down. I'm a computer moron and couldn't work it out)

The subject is perserverations. I heard Sleepy Dragon use the term when I first met her.

I was going to ask Chuck to invent a cream or aerosol spray so that the controller could control the perserverations of the subject. For example if I had the spray I could spray it on Sleepy and control her perserverations for my own purposes

Too late! Chuck has his own agenda at the moment!

For our health and the state of our homes I suggested that Sleepy and I have one hour on the computer and half an hour off attending to real life issues. She's GONE GOne gone...into a void of house proud mania....

...and now I am being.sucked.down.too....aahhh. I am Aussie. I can wrestle crocodiles..... I will fight to the death ...puff puff puff.

I have to get the house really clean. It's Ubby3's fault.... (totters on rim of void clutching at cobwebs ....he is allergic to 16 things including dust mites ...and he's
coming to
stay
for
Easter...

We have a printer at work we called "Tom Jones" because when it printed out the reports in the morning (for about 45 minutes) it goes 'bump, ba dump, bump ba dump' and beats out the whole rhythm section for "It's Not Unusual" When I started calling it that, no one "heard" it, but after a few weeks of me sorta singing along with it, everyone hears it and hence it's name "Tom Jones".

"Doctor, everywhere I go, I hear Tom Jones songs!"

"Hmmm, yes, it sounds like you have Tom Jones Syndrome."

"Is that rare?"

"No, it's not unusual."

Sorry, I had to do that...

And now, it's venting time. Feel free to skip ahead - I just need to b***h right now.

So, I've spoken elsewhere of my computer, DarkAngel, dying - and so far, it shows no signs of resurrection. So all the music and other cool stuff I had on the hard drive is locked away, until such time as I get a) another computer and b) a hard-drive enclosure, so I can remove the drive and copy the data to the new system. Now, i should be getting the computer J. has with him in Iraq, when he returns in June. Meantime, I've been sharing ArmyWife with H.

I also spoke elsewhere of H. being called away, because J's father had a heart attack. I have come to learn that the Red Cross has yet to get correct information to J's command, so it's quite likely that he won't get to go home to see the old man. We can hope that he'll pull through, but when I heard from H. earlier today, she said he didn't look good. Either way, she's there until this weekend, because we spent more money than we had to get her there, so she can't come back until J. gets paid.

Usually, I text her every so often, just to stay in touch. However, today, that went by the board. I had been recharging my cell phone, so it was on a small table next to the couch. Apparently, the cat knocked the phone down - and the dog dragged it under the couch, and chewed off the antenna. Now my phone can play games, and it can function as an alarm clock, but it can't make calls, it can't receive calls, and it can't send or receive text messages.

On the plus side, the phone is up for an upgrade next week...

Deconblues...
Sorry about all the crap your dealing with right now.It always seems to me that when bad things happen, they all dump on me at once(I assume that is just because it sucks,so I notice it more...perception,funny thing that).

I can't do anything about your phone, computer or father in law but I do have a fairly new external hard drive I can give you.I discovered after buying it that I have no idea how to use it and it didnt work for the one thing I wanted it for...storing my itunes on so they wouldnt take up my computers limited GB.Only problem is that my computer would make me load each song back onto my computer before it would add it to my itunes.Anyway...I'm over my ipod obsession,a few 1,000 songs are enough for now and I keep the rest on DVD's to load when I want a change.

Long story short.I have a 320GB external hard drive i/o magic(brand?)that is ust gathering dust here.My BF said it was making a clicking noise and didnt want to use it with his computer but I dont think it's broken...we are just tech clueless.

Convo me if you want it and I will mail it out.(Assuming your in US?)
