only today we can (we changed easter a bit cause son is going to play with friend so my daughter and me could
enjoy this just the two of us, to be honest it is not very funny to eat lots of sugar)
i have added some more and drink vodka with it,

Okay, I officially get to feel old now.

Our cable system carries CBUT, even though we're in the States. I found an episode of "Pinky Dinky Doo", one of 'Ganas favorite programs, airing on there this morning (for those unaware of it, it follows the tales a little girl named Pinky Dinky Doo tells her little brother, Tyler, illustrated inside the Story Box). After it was over, she came to me with the remote, wanting more. Unfortunately, there aren't any episodes in the On Demand lineup, nor recorded on our DVR (and the TV upstairs, where she was watching it, doesn't have a DVR box anyway).

And I started in with, "Hey, kid, be happy you've got a DVR at all!" And then, the ol' inner voice went into the Old Man Monologues: "When I was your age, we didn't have this fancy-schmancy cable! We had to use an aerial, and we only got three channels - four on a good day! And the fourth one was always snowy! And we were happy to have it, I tells ya! Didn't have no DVRs, either! If we wanted to watch a show again, we'd have to wait for the rerun! Now git offa my virtual lawn, ya video brats!"

Managed to sleep for 6 hours. Might be a little mania kicking in. Trouble is, when you get older, and have health issues, it isn't fun anymore. Just makes it hard to sleep!

i have no idea,
even if i got kids,
i do not have a tv
(yeah our kids said we are kind of unusual but they never really complained about it, we do have a computer as you may have noticed :D )

Not so gentle BenX topic

Sorry, everyone. I did not get back to the cafe right away because my computer crashed. I fixed the problems then I had to go shopping. :x Sinsboldly got the word out about BenX in the General Autism Discussion. Thanks, Lemon. Sounds interesting.

For those of you who are used to living in an aspie type household. I have a secret to share- a household of aspies is exhausting. Two boys have to share stragegies for hours when they are playing Age of Empires, and Ubby3 has to report to me every so often about the latest development. Youngest Liam has long monologues too and HAS to go to the beach NOW!

Helen is changing to aspie before my eyes. SHe has a perseveration at the moment - making alternate movies for U tube to reply to a certain group - a powerful lobby group that SPEAKS for others. Or she is in frenetic activity riding bikes with the boys, rowing with the boys, swimming with the boys ...

In my day, children were seen and not heard! And daughers of the age knew their place!

I have heard that in Dutch the word "benX" sounds like AmNoOne or AmNothing.
